Most "best prop firm" lists rank payouts and discounts. For a bot, what matters is different: can it use the broker API, run on a VPS, and keep trading once you reach a live funded account? Here's the ranking that actually answers that — with each firm's official source.
Independent tooling — not affiliated with any prop firm, no affiliate links. Rules change often; confirm on the firm's official page (linked per firm) before you buy.

How we rank: for a bot, the order is (1) are bots/EAs allowed at all, (2) is there a real broker API, (3) is automation allowed on the live funded account (not just eval), and (4) how punishing is the drawdown engine. A firm with a great payout but no API — or one that bans bots the moment you go live — is the wrong tool no matter how cheap the eval. Blank cells are honestly "not yet confirmed", not "no". See the full bot & automation policy matrix for every cell + sources, and the rule changelog for recent changes.
AlgoProven models each firm's exact rule-set — drawdown engine, daily loss, consistency, automation policy — and checks every trade against them before your bot takes risk. Try it free on the simulator.
